Doha : ( National Commission on Human Rights: 11/27/2013 ) met HE Secretary General of the National Commission for Human Rights at the headquarters of the Commission yesterday , the delegation Institute for Judicial Studies and legal under the Ministry of Justice of Kuwait , which includes Chancellor / Adel Abdullah Al-Issa agent Court of Cassation, Kuwait and Chancellor Dr. / Khaled Mubarak bandanna , deputy director of the Institute for Communications and relations and Research . The two sides discussed ways of cooperation regarding the training and rehabilitation of human resources of the parties in the areas of human rights .
The head of the delegation inquired advisor / Alissa about the terms of reference and objectives of the establishment of the National Commission for Human Rights and the mechanisms of action and how to receive complaints and classified. While the Secretary General welcomed the visit of the Kuwaiti delegation and considered a starting point for continuous cooperation and mutual visits between the two sides . The delegation presented a briefing on the terms of reference of the Committee and its objectives and stages of development to be awarded the degree classification (a) of the International Accreditation Committee and the conditions that should be met by the national institutions for human rights to give this category according to the Paris Principles .
I explained to the delegation the strategy pursued by the Committee for the enforcement of the current and future objectives and mechanisms for review and follow-up and evaluation . And dealt with an explanation of the departments and sections of the Commission and its terms of reference and functions. She said that the future plan of the Commission is based on the establishment of an ongoing relationship continues with the characters and supporting institutions for the establishment of a human rights culture at all levels of local and international and regional
For his part, Mr. Jaber explained Howail Director of the Legal Affairs Committee , mechanisms and methods of the Legal Department to receive complaints of the petitioners , whether citizens or residents . He explained that the legal insidious provide legal advice and guidance of the petitioners to the competent authorities in the event of the complaint were not the prerogative of the Commission
For his part, suggested d . Hanky prepare a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Commission for Human Rights and the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies . He said: We want to hold a sustainable partnership between the two sides in terms of the inclusion of the common training curriculum , training and rehabilitation . He added that the process of raising awareness of human rights protect us a lot of problems that may occur because of ignorance or neglect of these rights . He explained that the Institute of the Kuwaiti judiciary depends annual plan for the founding and continuous training and said : concerns us a lot to educate our associates at the Institute of the culture of human rights. The two sides welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding proposal and said there could be a memorandum of understanding effective for mutual benefit
