Conclusion of with the training course held for the benefit of mosque leaders and preachers

The NHRC concluded the training course which was held in the field of human rights and organized for the benefit of mosque leaders and preachers from October 7 to 8.  Mr. Jaber Al Huwail; Director of the Legal Affairs department, and Mr. Ali Muharram, legal expert at the NHRC gave lectures on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, national and international mechanisms for the protection of human rights, as well as a lecture on the right to work and workers' rights. Participants were honored and given certificates of appreciation. Al Huwail said at the end of the course: It is an honor for the NHRC to provide these lectures on principles of human rights for the benefit of this group, which has a special status in our hearts, pointing out that preachers and religious leaders have a strong influence in the community and they are very useful in the deployment and the establishment of the human rights culture; pointing out that all the views and proposals put forward by the preachers  for the advancement of human culture have been considered. Al Huwail extended thanks and appreciation to participants for their participation and commitment to this course, which comes within the framework of the Strategic Plan of the NHRC. Participants also extended  gratitude to the NHRC and its officials for its eagerness in the deployment of its humanitarian mission.
