During the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the martyr Ali Hassan Al-Jaber competition: Bin Thani: the principles espoused by the martyr establish lofty humanitarian objectives that the free world seeks to achieve Sami Al Hajj: the award has become a source of inspiration for journalists interested in monitoring human rights violations Bin Salmin: I call the young people of Qatar and the Arab world to participate in the competition Al Shawi: We aspire to further development in the competition this season At the headquarters of the National Human Rights Committee, the Board of Trustees of the martyr Ali Hassan Al-Jaber competition in its fifth season, which is launched by the NHRC in memory of the martyr Ali Hassan Al-Jaber, Al-Jazeera cameraman who sacrificed his life to detect humanitarian violations. Members of the Board of Trustees, during the meeting, stressed the need for humanitarian definition of the message that fought for it. HE Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Thani Bin Khaled Al Thani, Director of Qatar TV, Member of the Board of Trustees said that the principles espoused by the martyr establish lofty humanitarian objectives that the free world seeks to achieve by pointing out that developing of the competition by the NHRC is considered to be a significant step against human rights violations. Mr. Sami Al Hajj, member of the Board of Trustees and director of the human rights and Public Liberties department at Al Jazeera network, said that the award of the martyr Ali Hassan Al-Jaber has occupy a prominent place in the Arab world and aspires to take its proper place on the international level. Mr. Nasser Bin Salmin, member of the board of Trustees called that young people of Qatar and the Arab world to participate with their works in the competition, which will be closed on March 5, 2016, and pointed out that the competition was launched by the NHRC for the first time in March 2011. Mr. Saleh Hamad Al Shawi, representative of the director for Media Freedom Doha Center, expressed his happiness to be a member of the board of trustees for the second year in a row.
