NHRC concluded the "international mechanisms to protect migrant workers" training course

The National Human Rights Committee concluded the training course organized in collaboration with the Human Rights Institute of the University of Lyon, on "international mechanisms to protect migrant workers". The last sessions of the course discussed the human rights indicators relating to the protection of migrant workers as well as the approach based on human rights with regard to migration, social and economic indicators for Migration as well as a workshop on criteria, indicators and gap analysis. Dr. Abdul Aziz Almoghaisab, member of the Committee extended thanks to the participants and called them for deepening the concepts that they had received during the session on the intellectual and practical levels. Almoghaisab said: We hope that the participants may have actually benefited from this course and achieved its objectives; this not only depends on the conclusion of the session, but also on the obtained knowledge involvement in research and studies in all humanitarian fields. Almoghaisab thanked the Human Rights Institute of the University of Lyon for the fruitful and continuous cooperation with the NHRC in such courses. In conclusion, Dr. Almoghaisab and Mr. Fahad Bin Mubarak Al-Hajri, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the NHRC distributed certificates to the participants who answered a questionnaire that was distributed to them on the evaluation of  the session in terms of organization, timing and working papers presented as well as the selection of participants
